This week at the library •On Tuesday, October 15, 1:30 to 7 p.m., the library will sponsor a blood drive in conjunction with the Long Island Blood Services. Anyone 17 or older, weighing at least 110 pounds, and who has not donated blood in the past 56 days is welcome to sign-up. Sign-up is at the Front Desk. •A free Digital Camera Seminar will be held Wednesday, October 23, 7 to 9 p.m. Learn what to look for if purchasing a digital camera as well as what you should know about using it after you have already purchased one. Registration is underway. •A free Faux Finishes Workshop will be held Thursday, October 24, 7 to 9 p.m. Get help in deciding what faux finishes work best in your home. Registration is underway.
