Cornelia Teodorowicz, 96, of Deer Park

Deer Park resident and loving homemaker, Cornelia Teodorowicz died March 18, 2008 at Carillon House in Huntington. She was 96.

For 18 years she worked for FAO Schwarz in New York City as a sales manager and helped clients such as Elizabeth Taylor and First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt. She was an active volunteer in the Sts. Cyril & Methodius Church where she made all the costumes for holiday productions and was always helpful to anyone in need, according to her family.

Mrs. Teodorowicz leaves behind her children: Caroline Coakley of Deer Park and Michael of Hawthorne, New Jersey; her grandchildren: Stephen, Cara, Kim and Kevin; her great grandchildren: Brandi, Courtney and Stephanie. She was predeceased by her husband Michael.

She reposed at the Boyd-Caratozzolo Funeral Home in Deer Park. A Funeral Mass was held on March 20, 2008 at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Church in Deer Park followed by interment in St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale.
