Travelers Club meeting
The April 7 meeting of the Travelers Club was held a the home of Lynn Simmons. As their study of China continues, Margaret Daniel presented a paper on Chinese inventions titled Flowers to Fireworks. The four great inventions of Ancient China were the compass, gunpowder, papermaking and printing. The Chinese were using these and many other inventions sometime thousands of years before they made their way to the west. The second part of the program presented by Music and Drama was the reading of four ancient Chinese poems.
