Three men arrested for public lewdness

Suffolk County Police Third Squad Detectives have arrested three men, two from Babylon and one for Islip, for separate acts of public lewdness that occurred at different times and places in Islip Township.

Stephen White, 47, of 48 Oak Beach Road, Oak Beach, was charged with two counts of Public Lewdness, one incident took place on May 20, 2008, in West Islip, the other on May 21, 2008, in Bay Shore.  He is also charged with three counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, where he exposed himself to children on three separate occasions.

Gary Block, 28, of 95 Shaw Avenue , Islip, was charged with Public Lewdness and Endangering the Welfare of a Child for an incident in which he exposed himself to a child on May 7, 2008, in Bay Shore.

Peter DeStefano, 47, of 59 Dollard Drive, North Babylon, was charged with Public Lewdness for an incident where he exposed himself on May 21, 2008, in Bay Shore.

The above defendants will be held at the Third Precinct overnight for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip, today.
