Good Sam blood drive to be held May 28

Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center, 1000 Montauk Hwy., West Islip, will be holding a blood drive., Wed., May 28, 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the Guild Conference Center. There will be a free gift for all donors.

To donate blood you must be at least 17 years old or 16 with a parent's permission, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds and bring valid identificationand Social Security number. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 631-376-4444.

Mobile collection units will also be available Wed., May 28, Good Samaritan Hospital, Baxter Pavillion, 8 p.m. to midnight and Wed., May 28, MLK Center, Wyandanch, 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

If you are unable to donate on May 28, visit any Long Island Blood Services location and use Good Samaritan's ID number (3846). Call LI Blood Services at 1-800-933-BLOOD for locations and appointments.
