Suffolk AHRC meeting June 10
Suffolk AHRC (Association for the Help of Retarded Children) will hold its annual meeting on Tues., June 10 at the Suffolk Chapter of the AHRC, 2900 Veterans Memorial Hwy., Bohemia. This year's meeting is free to members and will feature The Runway 2 fashion show that was a hit last year. Once again it will feature models from AHRC's Image and Self-Esteem Group and fashions from Estelle's Dressy Dresses. Dessert will begin at 7 p.m. with the program including award presentations and fashion show to follow.
Suffolk AHRC is a not-for-profit organization which provides a lifetime of therapeutic programs and services to children and adults with developmental disabilities. Currently more than 2,500 people receive educational, vocational, residential and respite services through AHRC's thirty-three facilities.
