Babylon Village Arts Council to present Second Thursday
The Babylon Village Arts Council will present its Second Thursday Concert featuring Matthew Pierce on June 12, 7:30 p.m.at Astoria Federal Savings Bank located at 181 West Main St., Babylon Village.
The composer-violinist, in collaboration with fellow East Northport resident and pianist Christine Dore, will present an evening of original compositions. Renown for writing music for major American ballet companies, Pierce will perform excerpts from Pecos Bill which the Houston Chronicle called "possibly the best commissioned score in Houston Ballet's history".
