Supervisor Nolan offers Therapeutic Recreation Program

Islip Town Supervisor Phil Nolan is accepting applications for the Summer 2008 Therapeutic Recreation Playground Program, which allows for disabled children to interact with other children from the Town's recreation programs. These programs will be held at the Commack Road and Sherwood Elementary Schools in Islip, beginning Mon., July 7 and ending Fri., Aug. 15, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost is $100 per two-week session; there are three two-week sessions available. Children ages six through 13 are invited to participate. Parents/ Guardians must provide lunch and transportation.
