PROPOSITION NO 1 (BUDGET RE-VOTE) BUDGET PROPOSITION Shall the following resolution be adopted, to wit: RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of Lindenhurst Union Free School District is hereby authorized to expend during the school year 2008- 2009 the sum set forth in the Budget Estimate for the school year 2008-2009, heretofore filed pursuant to law, and that the Board of Education be authorized to levy the necessary tax therefor. NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that, pursuant to Section 2014 of the Education Law, personal registration of voters is required for said vote, and no person shall be entitled to vote whose name does not appear on the register of said School District prepared as hereinafter set forth, except a person who is otherwise qualified to vote and is registered under provision of Article 5 of the Education Law. NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN, that personal registration of voters is required either pursuant to §2014 of the Education Law or pursuant to Article 5 of the Election Law.
