      Former longtime Islip resident Salverio "Sal" Rizzuto died May 17, 2008 Albany, New York. He was 89. For more than 45 years he lived in Islip Terrace with his wife Elizabeth. The couple moved to Albany to be closer to their son in October, 2006.
