Bay Shore student qualifies for Gift of Giving award
Bay Shore High School student Judah Negron, qualified for the President's Volunteer Service Award through the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation as a Prudential Spirit of Community Award Honoree.
Negron serves as a role model for other young people. Through a special church group, he traveled to Guatemala several times on humanitarian missions to bring hope and toys to orphanages in disadvantaged areas. Negron has learned much from this unique experience and considers himself fortunate to have had this opportunity to reach out and make a difference in the lives of others.
