HEARD IT ON THE GRAPEVINE WHAT'S HAPPENING in Argyle Park, specifically the former Joseph Young property - mounds of earth have been cleaned up, and it looks as though perhaps the large single house will be torn down, and two smaller houses built on the property. Everyone is so interested in Argyle Park, one of the oldest properties in our Village. WE WERE SO SORRY TO LEARN THAT FORMER Babylonian Dick Wigton, now of New Jersey, passed away. Grace and Ed have arrived here for the summer after spending a great winter in Stuart, Florida. JOHN ASPLAND IS A BIG SUCCESS. He moved from Babylon to upstate Fort Ann, New York. In 1983, he opened a grocery store. Today John Aspland operates Adirondack Plastics and Recycling, Inc., a $4.4 million business which he founded in 1991 and is the principal owner. The company is opening a second branch in south Texas. It's nice to see some of Babylon's own so successful.
