Pfc. Brendon Willy graduates

Marine Corps Pfc. Brendon J. Willy, son of Eliza­beth Willy of West Islip, recently graduated from the Ammunition Technician Course while assigned as students to Ordnance Munitions and Electronics Maintenance School, Marine Corps Detachment, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.

Over the course of 28 days, students received ap­prentice skill level training in receipt, issue, storage, handling and inventory of ammunition in accor­dance

with Marine Corps and Navy doctrine. They also received training in ammunition identification, use of ammunition publications and demolition operations. Willy is a 2006 graduate of West Islip High School, West Islip and joined the Marine Corps in September 2007.
