Lindenhurst's West Gates holds blood drive
Lindenhurst's West Gates Avenue Elementary School held its annual blood drive for parents, staff and administrators in the gym. Fifth-grade students participated in the Long Island Blood Services "Little Doctors" program and helped donors throughout the day and evening. With the help of the little doctors and the PTA, the blood drive was a huge success.
Shown, left to right, are fifth-graders Davian David-Ramphow, Justine Betz, Erin Ramirez, Sabrina Morelli, and Elizabeth McAlvin serve as "little doctors" helping donors at the West Gates Blood Drive.
