Babylon Businesswomen award scholarships
The Babylon Business Women’s Association held a luncheon last week at the Southward Ho Country Club in Bay Shore and honored two students for academic excellence. The two, Laura Greenman and Gabriella Wilkens received $1,500 scholarships from the organization. Laura is attending Boston College in the fall and will study business or education, and Gabriella is attending SUNY New Paltz to study to become an art teacher. The students are shown with the scholarship committee, which includes Betty Hanse, Chairwoman Nancy Swan, Mary Ellen Sullivan and Libby Orr, and their mothers, Allison Greenman and Kim Wilkens.
