Local firemen support bike ride

The Wounded Warriors Projects Soldier Bike Ride took place on Fri., July 25. At 9 a.m. crowds gathered at the Babylon Town Hall for the kick-off ceremony. At 10 a.m. the cyclists started on the 24-mile bike ride to Cedar Beach where they enjoyed a barbecue.

Chief Anthony Cardali, of the Babylon Village Fire Department, organized a group of members to participate. Shown left to right, are Will Tiedermann, Ricky Gremple, Keith Mitchell, Keri Whalen, Ronnie Schaal and Andrew Hoyt.
