Microchip Clinic for pets offered Sept. 13
On Sat. Sept. 13, 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. the Mayor's Alliance for NYC Animals will be providing a low cost microchip clinic during the Last Hope Animal Rescue Dog Walk and Family Fun Day at Wantagh Park near the dog run. Microchips help lost pets return home. Pet owners can get their dogs/cats protected with Home Again chips for $25 per pet, registration included - a savings of up to $80. The microchips will be implanted by veterinary personnel within the Mayor's Alliance secure tent. Pets are welcome even if not participating in the Last Hope Dog Walk. Call 631-661-6164 for details.
